Admission

Old Dominion University School of Physical Therapy uses the Physical Therapy Centralized Admissions Service (PTCAS). Students wishing to apply will send one set of their materials directly to the PTCAS, and will then pay to have the service process the files and forward them to any PT programs chosen by the applicant. We hope that this saves you time and trouble in exchange for a moderate increase in expense. Applications are due the first Monday in November. More information on the process can be found at www.ptcas.org.

We accept 40 students per year into the Doctor of Physical Therapy Program.  Applicants must have a Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university with at least a 3.00 grade point average. We admit one class of students per year, and they begin the curriculum the last week in June each year.
