ODU Nursing Student

Nursing students at ODU do more than run up and down the halls of the hospital.  Renee High, a second semester junior in the accelerated prelicensure program at Old Dominion University School of Nursing is picture running the Shamrock marathon.  In addition, Renee recently competed in the Rock and Roll Half Marathon held in Virginia Beach on September 4th.  In the Half Marathon, she was second place in the 18-24 age group and 23rd female overall.  Renee carefully balances her training and full time study in the School of Nursing.  When asked why she runs, Renee stated, “I love to run”.
