Dr. Benjamin is coordinator of the summer undergraduate community health nursing courses, and teaches epidemiology in the graduate program at ODU and the MPH program with EVMS.

Professional History
Academic positions have included psychiatric-mental health nursing and community health appointments at Georgia Southern University and Old Dominion University. Currently practices as psychiatric clinican and is certified by ANCC as a clinical specialist in Adult Psychiatric and Mental Health Nursing. Special research interest include behavioral and mental health problems of children and adolescents. Other areas of research include health outcomes of the elderly.
