Amy Lee, RN, MSN

Senior Lecturer

She received her BSN from Niagara University in 1984, and her MSN from the University of Virginia in 1995.  Her clinical practice focus has been in the critical care environment, spending the last 20 years of practice in the Emergency Department.  She has been a certified Trauma Nurse, and BLS instructor.  She maintained certification as a Critical Care Nurse (CCRN) until 2008, and continues to maintain Advanced Cardiac Life Support certification.  She is currently involved with courses throughout the undergraduate pre licensure and post licensure curriculum.  In the pre licensure program she is the coordinator for the sophomore level Health Assessment course and accompanying clinical laboratory.  She is also clinical faculty for Fundamentals of Nursing, Adult Health I, and Critical Care Nursing.  In the post licensure curriculum she is course coordinator for Career Pathway:Development in both Teletechnet and Online format.  She has recently joined the MPH committee and is a member of the School of Nursing Biohazards Committee.  She has also recently completed editorial work on a textbook for Elsevier Publishing.
