Services Provided by Our Office

Our office seeks to facilitate the development of faculty research in the College and beyond by providing the following services:

• Providing faculty mentoring regarding  the development of research programs
• Assisting individual faculty or research teams in the formulation of research ideas
• Helping faculty identify suitable funding sources for developing projects
• Maintaining files of sample successful proposals
• Helping with proposal development, formatting, and preparation for grant submission
• Serving as liaison with other research resources on the campus and in local and national research community
• Arranging internal and external reviews of developing grant proposals
• Processing of requests for research resources such as pilot funding and research space
• Helping faculty update their research accomplishments on the College website
• Helping update faculty Community of Science (COS) web-pages and COS funding alerts in their research areas
