MPH Program Requirements
A 42 hour curriculum including a public health related capstone project that demonstrates the knowledge and the skill set to assume increasingly responsible positions in the public health sector are required to earn the MPH in Environmental Health.
Courses
The Master of Public Health (MPH) with a specialty track in Environmental Health requires 42 academic credit hours beyond the baccalaureate degree.The program of study consists of 6 core courses for 18 credit hours; 3 environmental health core courses for 9 credit hours, and 2 environmental health electives for 6 credit hours.The remaining 9 credit hours may be satisfied through the capstone project for a total of six credit hours and a practicum (a public health project) or grant writing course for 3 credit hours.
